About The BABC

The British-American Business Council Tampa Bay, Inc. (BABC Tampa Bay) was first incorporated in 1985 as the British-American Chamber of Commerce of Tampa Bay and is an affiliate member of the British-American Business Council (BABC), which represents more than 10,000 executives of 33 member organizations in the United States, Canada, Mexico and the United Kingdom.

Our principle purpose is to promote trade and commerce between the United States and the United Kingdom.  Locally, our membership represents a variety of companies and individuals who are either British citizens wishing to establish American contacts or setting up a business in the US or are Americans wishing to do business in the UK and/or attract inward investment.

We have an active series of British American Business Council Tampa Bay events throughout the year, and we encourage you to attend as many as possible. 

Importantly, you don't have to be a member to participate.  However, by becoming a member, you receive full membership privileges including access to our organization through business luncheons and meetings, after hours networking exchanges, our quarterly newsletter, access to our online membership directory and discounts for all scheduled activities and events.
